About
I'm a Danish-Korean adoptee currently living in Seoul, exploring my birth country. I’ve been knitting on and off since childhood, and knitting has become a central part of this journey — connecting me with Korean knitters and, through these friendships, to the Korean language, culture, food, and everyday life.
Welcome to Seolin Studio. The name Seolin combines my Korean last name, Seo (서), and my Danish last name, Lindgaard.
My pattern inspiration comes from everyday life: the neighbourhoods of Seoul, their distinct atmospheres, and the traditional architecture and clothing.
My designs blend Scandinavian simplicity with Korean traditional elements or Seoul city inspiration, focusing on texture, clean lines, and wearable silhouettes.
I aim to create patterns that are clear, thoughtfully constructed, and enjoyable to knit. More designs inspired by Seoul are already in the making.
I hope you enjoy my designs as much as I enjoy creating them.
Happy knitting!
